		<description>Sweet!  I was on the Ubuntu forum and indeed a lot of people were discussing having tried the Alpha in a thread.  Reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

Perhaps more surprising and more encouraging still is that these were all Linux guys (I myself used Linux after BeOS), and practically no one was flaming it as a waste of time with no hope.

I AltOS community is excited to see something new.  As much as I respect Linux for what it is, I think a lot of us who seek a better Desktop OS see Linux for what it is not, and what it doesn&#039;t look like it will every really be.</description>
